

Playing around the damage over time aspect of the skill can be bit cumbersome at times, but it’s certainly worth it for the incredibly high damage output offered. Towards end game I could very easily see using a basic skill like Bash or Flay, but for leveling, Lunging Strike is simply too good to not use.įor our Core Skill we are going to be using Rend, which is the highest damaging Core Skill Barbarian has access to. It’s also fantastic for those pesky anti-melee boss fights, as it allows you to easily stay on top of your target. Not to mention, Lunging Strike does fairly decent damage as a basic skill, and even heals you a bit. Lunging Strike is perfect for this not only speeding up getting from A->B, but you’ll also have a ton of Fury ready to spend whenever you need to. Often times you don’t want to be attacking every enemy you come into contact with, rather just run past them to get to your quest objective, or to better group them up. This provides unparalleled movement by lunging us to any enemy we wish to attack, vastly speeding up our gameplay. For leveling there’s really only one option, being Lunging Strike. However I personally think Rend is your best bet for a smooth leveling experience.įirst, we need to pick our basic skill.
